The program was initiated due to children’s lack of courage and limited experience in public speaking caused by inadequate facilities and guidance. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving 30 children aged 9–13. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The training was conducted over seven days, covering the introduction of speech, basic techniques, script reading practice, simulations, feedback sessions, and a speech contest. The results indicated significant improvement in the children’s courage, intonation, articulation, eye contact, and self-confidence. Support from parents and local authorities also contributed to the program’s success. Despite limitations in time and facilities, the program proved effective in addressing children’s low public speaking skills. In the future, the program can be developed further by adding materials such as debates, presentations, or drama to broaden communication skills.</p> 2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Siti Inayah, Fitria Zulfa, Karyono, Ahmad Farihin https://www.glorespublication.org/index.php/irajagaddhita/article/view/962 Revitalisasi Manuskrip Islam Mempawah melalui Workshop Literasi Arab Melayu Pada Siswa MA Al-Mansyuri 2026-02-05T16:15:18+00:00 Erwin Mahrus erwinmahrus@gmail.com Maulidah Rahmah maulidahrahmah99@gmail.com Winia Hade Saputri winiahadesaputri@gmail.com Aqila Fitriani Ulayya aqilafitulayya1224@gmail.com Derry Indhie Bhakti derryindhiebhakti@gmail.com Feti Ayu Pratarti fetiayupratarti@gmail.com Munawir Hasan munawirhasan98@gmail.com <p>Arabic–Malay script is one of the intellectual heritages of Islam that has played an important role in the development of Islamic literacy in the Indonesian archipelago. However, the ability to read this script among the younger generation has been steadily declining, including in Mempawah Regency, which possesses numerous manuscripts by local Islamic scholars. This community service program aims to revitalize Arabic–Malay literacy skills through the implementation of an Arabic–Malay Literacy Workshop for students of MA Al-Manshury Mempawah. The method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves students in the processes of problem identification, workshop implementation, and outcome evaluation. The activities include an introduction to the history of the Arabic–Malay script, training in basic letters, and practical reading exercises using the manuscript Aqāʾid al-Īmān by Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad Al-Banjari. Pretest–posttest results indicate a significant improvement in students’ Arabic–Malay reading abilities, with an average pretest score of 56.60 and a posttest score of 79.20, as well as paired-sample t-test results (p &lt; 0.05). These findings demonstrate that the workshop was effective in enhancing Arabic–Malay literacy competencies and in opening students’ access to the local Islamic intellectual tradition. This program underscores the importance of revitalizing the Arabic–Malay script as part of preserving Islamic literacy culture and strengthening the scholarly identity of the Malay community in West Kalimantan.</p> 2026-04-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Erwin Mahrus, Maulidah Rahmah, Winia Hade Saputri, Aqila Fitriani Ulayya, Derry Indhie Bhakti, Feti Ayu Pratarti, Munawir Hasan
